Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Which is the difference between an API and an Open Interface?

Hi,

Which is the difference between an API and an Open Interface?

I know that in Projects there is an API to create Projects and a Transaction Open Interface to create the Transactions.

From a technical and functional point of view which is the difference? Why in some cases is called API and in another cases Interfaces?
