Copy backups from hard disk to Tape.

 Hi all,

 I've been using 11R1 64 bit on Linux 64 and use HP Data Protector to bakup database to Tape.

 But today, my team need a process like:

   1. Backup database to hard disk by RMAN.

   2. Copy the backup to Tape (setup a scheduler to do this).

  To copying backups of database to tape. Has tool (my case is HP Data Protector) support copying backups from hard disk to Tape ? Or I must use linux commands to do this ? 

  Plz, give me some solutions to solve it.
