E1 9.0 AB populates "No County" in blank County field

We've started testing E1 9.0 in preparation for an upgrade from 8.12.

While testing the E1 Address Book, I noticed that if you leave the County field blank, E1 now populates "No County" in the field.  (It looks like mixed case on P01012, but stored in the F0101 as "NO COUNTY").  I can't find any documentation on this change on My Oracle Support, and not sure how this is going to impact our downstream processes.

Anyone have any documentation on the benefits of this new feature?

Anyone experience any challenges based on this new feature?
