Hi Experts,

Thanks in advance.....

Could you please provide details about power redundancy in system board level in Sun Fire E2900/1280 . e.g. if Netra-T12 has two system board SB0 and SB1 and SB0 fails for some reason will the system work fine after reboot with SB1?

Any document or JTF or Problem Resolution Document for the same. I know it will work fine with single system board too. My customer need Document from Principle for same.

Regards,

Ramesh Arly

We had a situation in Netra-T12 where one server was inaccessible and after changing SB0 it was able to boot up. SC logs are attached here with. DIMMS on SB0 were faulty and thats why system was not starting up it was told by Sun Support and that SB0 is required to boot up. Furthermore it was told that if this faulty DIMMs issue would have happened on SB1 the system would have started fine as on boot up it requires only SB0!

Howdy, Stranger!
