Using ExcelToCI with INTFC_FINPHY_SS_A

I am trying to use ExcelToCI with the delivered INTFC_FINPHY_SS_A compoent interface for the first time. I am able to submit data from Excel and get an OK status. However, when I go look for the assets in PIA at ...Import Date via Spreadsheet->Financial and Physical, the assets are not there. I found a discussion on the ITToolbox site where someone points out that there is peoplecode in the SavePostChange event of the DTTM_STAMP field of the INTFC_FIN record that does SQLExec deletes.
