OAB: Open Enrollment and GSP Rate Sync Life Event processed on same date. Can it be done.

OAB: I am trying to test a process of processing an Open Enrollment Life Event on the same date as a GSP Rate Sync Life Event.  Both are to be processed on Jan. 1, 2012.  In years past, we have not been able to complete this process and the GSP Rate Sync had to done manually as Salary Change LE with a re-process of the Open Enrollment LE.  Our Open Enrollment LE's are processed in November for an effective date as of 01-JAN-2012.  The GSP Rate Sync LE are created mid-January for an effective back date of 01-JAN-2012.  Currently
