Break pricing based on total order quantity for the same product on multiple lines of an order (R12)

 Hi,

Wondering if there is a simpler way to do the following:

Product price is $100 when ordering 100 units or less, $90 dollars when ordering above 100 units on an order. However, the order quantity can be split into multiple lines with different ship dates.  

So the order would look like:

Line 1.1, Product ABC123, Quantity 50 

Line 1.2, Product ABC123, Quantity 60

When I enter a simple point break in my price list, the order(lines) do not qualify for the $90 dollar price based on the total quantity ordered.

I know that using a custom qualifier attribute based on the total order quantity of the product on the order, I can make it work, but I would like to find out if there is a simpler way.
