Journal Approval and HRSS using the same method; employee / supervisor

Dears,

         Do you have any solution that help me to use different paths for approval when approving journal batches Or any HR documents such as leave request because both are using the same method "employee supervisor" and as a business requirements users in GL are using hierarchy that is different than the hierarchy in HR. Please advice. Thanks
