Kerberos kadmin - Does it conform to standard MIT communication protocols when it comes to kadmin?

Hello,
In kadmin(1M) I see that encrypted RPC is used to operate securely from anywhere on the network.

This raises a doubt: Does Solaris use standard MIT Kerberos protocol communication for kadmin or not?

For example, for password change the answer is clearly not, as with non Solaris KDCs with have to include kpasswd_protocol = SET_CHANGE in krb5.conf.
