What is the upgrade path from Siebel SEA 7.7.2.12 to Siebel SIA 8.1.15?

We are planning to upgrade our enviornment to Siebel SIA 8.1.1.5.  In looking through Support Web, I see notes on upgrading from 7.7.x to 8.0 and from 7.8 to 8.1.1.5.  Is there a direct upgrade path from 7.7.x to 8.1.1.5 or is it a two-part upgrade?
