Creating a table report from multiple data sources

I would like to be able to create a report that contains data from multiple data sources (i.e. db1.table + db2.table).  Table structure will be the same on both databases, but data will be different.  I would like to have them merged into one data set in BI so a report could be generated based on one source (all data in one table, not 2 tables on the report)  Is this possible?  Any documentation/links?
