No Warranty Contract creation from Order Management

Iam creating an order for a an item which has a BOM configuration. To this BOM, a warranty item has been assigned .

Item is defined in a manufacturing org and shipped out from a distribution centre which is another org. Made sure the warranty item is assigned in the Shipping org.

Created an order and shiped it out. In install base an instance is created, but checking on the contract tab, no  warranty contract is created.

Any feedback on this issue is appreciated.
