Items not collected during data collection

We are facing an issue during data collections. We have an item 'A' which is a planned item (MPS item). When data collections is running and during that time if an ECO is published and implemented during the data collections for item A, we see that item A is not getting collected and this is having a downstream impact as MPS and MRP is not able to plan.

If we run the collections again, the item A gets picked. But the problem is that we cant rerun the datacollections / MPS / MRP plans every time as the whole exercise takes more than 6 hrs.
