Removing F0010 from P98613

Dear Colleagues,

Due to recuring issue with period reopening when the cashe has to be cleared, we are considering the option to remove F0010 from P98613 as was suggested in FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Company Names and Numbers (P0010) [ID 664721.1].

My Question is if anybody tried this option and can share experience with possible impact on performance? It is mentioned in the document, but not specified in more details. 

We are on Oracle, 812, TR  8.97.0.2.
