Journal and Budget Wizard

I have been using both the journal wizard and budget wizard options through GL for a few months.  All of a sudden both are causing me issue.  I can not open a previously saved journal entry in excel.  It completly errors and causes excel to crash.  I can create a new journal but it locks up excel if I try to save it and close.  I can download a budget but as soon as I save it, the numbers in the cells will start flashing and then I can not download another budget.  It too completly freezes excel up and kicks
