Why High level reservation does not work grade?

I'm working for steel manufacturing company and I'm looking for solution for unique problem.

We are producing Y (Product) from X (Ingrediants). The production is recorded by LOT and GRADE, which means that items in finished goods may have different lots and each lot have specific grade.

Sales enters order by item and grade and they want reservations to be made by Item & Grade. Challenge is Grade wise reservation is only avaiable in "Low Level Reservation" whereas we are using "High Level Resrvation".

Due to high level reservation,system allows sales team to reserve order for Item 1 with grade A whereas there is no stock available for Item 1 grade A but there stock is available for Item 1 Grade B.
