can I configure data guard for my senario 10.2.0.4/solaris x86-64 and 11.2.0.2/Linux 64

Hi All,


We want to upgrade our database from 10gr2 to 11gr2, including production. Some databases are almost 1TB, we want to configure data guard to do the migration.

Now:

OS: Solaris 5.10 /Sun i386,

database: 10.2.0.4

Target:

OS: Linux/HP

Database: 11.2.0.2

 From Oracle document  [ID 413484.1], I can configure data guard bewteen these 2 environment, :

13Linux 64-bit for AMD
Linux x86-64		7 - Oracle 11g onward, see Support Note 414043.1
10 - Oracle 10g onward, see Support Note 414043.1
11 - Oracle 10g onward
8, 12 - Oracle 11g onward

20 - Oracle 11g onward
15HP Open VMS
HP OpenVMS Alpha
HP IA OpenVMS
