Sun Ray Server Software 5.2.3 is Now Available

Hi all
We are pleased to announce the 5.2.3 release of Sun Ray Software (SRS). This maintenance update is now available to contracted customers within the My Oracle Support portal, and includes the changes described below.

Sun Ray Software

Sun Ray Software is a secure and cost-effective solution that delivers a rich virtual desktop experience for Sun Ray Clients, PCs, and laptops. It provides access to virtual desktop environments from nearly any location and dramatically reduces the complexity and operational costs incurred by traditional PC deployments.

New Features

  • The utkeylock Command - The utkeylock command can modify the state of certain locking modifier keys on a user's keyboard. Currently, only the NumLock key is supported. This command may be useful to invoke during session creation to enable NumLock for users who expect NumLock to be on by default, which is typical for Windows PCs. By default, the NumLock key is disabled on a Sun Ray Client.     See the utkeylock man page for details.
