10 recommended patches

Hey everyone,

 I am curious, is there a big difference between the 10_recommended for sparc and x86 - they both are the same size  - do i really need to download both sets and if I do - is it possible to store them in the same location and have to run a single script from a share?

Any opinion on manageing sparc and x86 patching is welcome.
