How to incorporate software updates to 55 copies

Hello,

What is the best practice for incorporating software updates, E1 9.0, into our P55 or R55 versions. For example, I have copied P4210 to P554210W & we've done a baseline install. I could duplicate all the changes into my P55 but that could be prone to error etc.

Does anybody know of a merge to run against any 2 apps?

Otherwise, how can I copy the new P4210 to the currently existing P554210W without deleting it in all environments
