How to expose a BSFN so that other systems can call the same

I would like to expose some of the standard business functions to outside jde applications, where they can access these business functions and update the jde tables so that we can proceed to further processing.

For example,  next numbering business function,  other systems can call the next numbering and insert into the specific JDE table over the web for generating the Address number / Order Number.
