Impact of CU2 patch on Stream Generation Template

After application of CU2 patch we have observed that two parameters have been added in Stream Generation Template setup and these flows as Qualities in Financial Products setup also

1. INTEREST_CALCULATION_BASIS

2. REVENUE_RECOGNITION_METHOD

By default INTEREST_CALCULATION_BASIS parameter shows value as Fixed or Fixed_upgrade.

Q1: For INTEREST_CALCULATION_BASIS=FIXED is there any impact on streams and accounting

Q2: Any reason for default value as FIXED_UPGRADE? Is it because of Variable rate streams defined in some of the Stream Generation Template.

Q3: Now we need to define Stream GenerationTempate with different values of INTEREST_CALCULATION_BASIS.(FIXED, FLOAT, FLOAT FACTOR, CATCHUP, REAMORT)
