Is there a better way to deal with users seeing dimensions they don't have access to in Smart View d

We are upgrading from 11.1.1.3.1 to 11.1.2.1.  In 11.1.1.3.1 we had to use a script to export security filters, use that data to create an import script by adding metaread permissions to users with read access, and then import the metaread data back into Planning/Essbase.  This made it so users couldn't see dimensions that they didn't have access to in smart view.  We found that this script no longer works after the upgrade becuase the exported security filters are in a slightly different order.  Obviously we can fix the old script to handle the new data format but we are
