Change depreciate flag/status of and asset

I have uploaded and posted assets.  I have not run depreciation.  I have noticed there are some assets that have depreciate flagged.  I do not want to depreciate.  It is not letting me un check the depreciate flag.  Is there a way for me to change this without deleting asset and re- entering?
