datafile movement from one diskgroup to another

Hello everyone

I am trying to move the datafiles from one diskgroup to another.

at first we are trying to do use rman and the sintax we used is

backup as copy datafile 5 format "+DATAJDE"

but when the process starts i get the following error

RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on ORA_DISK_1 channel at 10-29-2011

RMAN-10038: database session for channel ORA_DISK_1 terminated unexpectedly

we have just installed the database with oracle asm and we are using rman as it comes

So my question is if i need to configure some special parameters in order for the rman command to work
