AR System Option - Tax Code Defaults

Hi

        There is an options in System Option for Tax Code Defaults, Customer Site,Customer,Product,Revenue Account and System Option. At precent we are using the  option Customer Site and System Option.   What is the Purpose of "Product" How it will work? What is the Setups?
