adding text features

We currently have attributes set for height, width, color, instructions, lockbox height, handle height, PD height. Each of them is being pulled into the CZ tables with a WriteAttributes extension. The fear is we will over time use up the available attributes and no longer be able to add new options to Configurator. Would it be possible to use a Configurator extension on the 'postvaluechange' to consolidate them into one text feature prior to calling WriteAttribues?
