How to prevent calculating depreciation of assets in the old period when life year was changed?

Hi Everyone,

I have the issue(or questions) about the revalue of asset.
I have amount of assets that have been calculuted the depreciation.
Then I changed the life year and then run depreciation.
The assets were re-calculated the depreciation of the old period and adjust the new depreciation
to the existing period.

1. Is there the function or solution to prevent re-calculate the depreciation of the old period?
I want the existing period is the depreciation that calculate from the new life year of assets.
2. Can the Override function use for this point?

If anyone have any idea, please advise?
