Launch EAS Console with Web browser under IIS SSL
I've encountered a problem to launch EAS console (version 11.1.2.1) with Web browser under IIS with SSL. But I didn't configure any SSL at the WebLogic level.
In my environment, we've installed Essbase 11.1.2.1 under Windows server 2008 64-bit, and configured the SSL under IIS 7.0. I've configured a virtual website with port 80 to redirect all access to port 443. Then, I tried to launch the EAS console with web browser, it returned a Java error with saying 'Unable to load resource: http://servername:80/easconsole/eas_client.jar'
Indeed, I CAN launch the EAS console either with the Essbase client, or with web browser if I configured IIS to be accessible with port 80. Also, I've successfully launched the EAS console with Web browser with SSL port 443 under Essbase version 11.1.2.0 with the same IIS configuration. However, after upgraded to 11.1.2.1, it seems that the URL hardcoded to access port 80 now.
