ASM+third copy+RMAN+ Veritas Netbackup

Veritas Netbackup doesnt support with ASM with Snapshot Client, because for that Veritas uses  proxy mode for off-host backups,  and   Oracle RMAN does not support proxy method when ASM is used.

Im looking for more information about this in documentation, but I cant find anything about this.

Is like that? RMAN does not support proxy method when ASM is used.?

Any help, it shoud be apreciated!!
