Oracle Advance Security - Network Encryption and Firewall ports - do I need non encrypted port to be

Hi,

I have set up network encryption between client and server using new port number. Everything worked fine.

My firewall team closed port used for uncencrytped connection and left open port for encrypted connection only. Since then, application on the client side is failling.

My question is do I need both ports to be open on the firewall?
