Multiple volume groups on the wrong controller

I have a Storagetek 6580 that has multiple volume groups on the wrong controller.  I've tried changing the controller from the one that it is on to the preferred controller via the Common Array Manager, but for whatever reason, they will not change.

I change the controller, save and I get a message that said the operation was successful, but when I go back to verify, the controller reverted back to the one that it was on.  I've tried this mulitple times, but for whatever reason, the change will not take.  Any reason why?
