Changing an existing customers Profile Class and Statement Cycle

We are looking at creating a new profile class and statement cycle to add to existing Customers for which statements have been run previously on their current statement cycle.

Is there anyway to set this up so that we could re-print prior statements for the customers that we are changing?

When we set up the statement cycle with dates starting from the beginning of the year, we are unable to produce statements for prior period for clients that have had a cycle change.

Any insight or guidance you can offer on making this change is appreciated.
