Essbase linked partition issue

Hello,

I am using Essbase 11.1.2.0 and perform adhoc analysis using SmartView on Office 2007.

I set up a linked partition using two BSO cubes on the same server. The cubes' outlines are identitcal with the data cleared from the target cube. I set up the linked partition and used the areas for source and target showing source: @IDESCENDANTS("Dimension1") target: @IDESCENDANTS("Dimension1") etc..

The partition validated and saved successfully.

When I however use Smartview and query the target database I do not see any data on any level.

The partition source and target configuration is done as follows:

Source server: Servername:1423         Target server: Servername:1423
