Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Siebel System Admin, Install and Upgrade (MOSC)

Siebel servers do not start up after installing 8.1.1.5 patch

There are primarily two isses surrounding the Siebel 8.1.1.5 patch installation.

Siebel Server : UNIX

Siebel Gateway : Windows

I am in the process of getting more information on this as it comes.

The short of it is basically the Siebel Gateway does not see / recognise the Siebel servers after it has been patched to 8.1.1.5 Fix pack.
