Shipping from multiple warehouses

Running A7.3 (cum. 6).

We have a need  to ship certain SKU's from  a separate warehouse (br/plt). The sales order can have products that ship from both warehouses.

1. Need to have separate pick/pack for each warehouse

2. Need to be able to invoice by line item on the sales order - If 90% of order ships from Warehouse A, but other 10% does not ship from Warehouse B, still want to invoice 90% of order and the remaining 10% gets a second invoice.

Would preference profiles be used here? What are other setup/config concerns?
