Managing Databases using Enterprise Manager (MOSC)

SEVERE: Error starting Database Control

Hi All,

I am getting the following error during the creation of the enterprise manager repository (OEM):  SEVERE: Error starting Database Control


The user account (orauser) is a member of ora_dba and I am able to run SQLPLUS / AS SYSDBA successfully.  The environment is a Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise 64-bit system, Oracle 10g Release 10.2.0.4.0  I

Here are the steps taken. 

C:\Users\orauser.ORACLE>set ORACLE_SID=orcl

C:\Users\orauser.ORACLE>emca -deconfig dbcontrol db -repos drop
