Storning physicsl files

Hi

There are quite number of physical files  doc/.pdf formats for example ..employees credentials,family details,passport details ,purchanse order documents .so on....getting uploaded

I Have refrred the note   How to Store Image/PDF Attachments on the File System in 11i and R12 (like Attachment File Directory) (Doc ID 294525.1)  But this note id is for form based application im looking for hrms self service pages  11i
