US PAY: PA Act 32 Patch

Hello

We have some questions/concerns about the PA Act 32 patch.

If we get this patch in before EOY, what happens to current calculations?  I am concerned that once we have it in, any balance adjustments, current payrolls, etc will all follow this new structure.  While not technically a problem, it does pose issues for 2011 balancing and balance maintenance.  What is the trigger in this patch to force this functionality to work only in 2012?  If there isn’t, does this need to go into Prod before the first PR of 2012, but after the last PR of 2011?

 

Please advise ASAP.
