"SQL*Net message from client" wait events

Dear All,

In my database(9i) I am facing the below wait event regularly from 2-3 days and APP team is complaining about the performance.

"SQL*Net message from client" wait events


I searched many docs online, couldn't get to any conclusion on how to get rid of this.

Anyone please help me.....
