Database - RAC/Scalability (MOSC)

Getting CRS-2632 while trying to start up 2 node RAC database - 11.2.0.2

Hi

We have a 2 node 11.2.0.2 RAC on Linux
we are getting the following errors while trying to start up the databases and would greatly appreciate any help



$ ./srvctl status database -d appsstage
Instance appsstage1 is not running on node kusappsstagedb1
Instance appsstage2 is not running on node kusappsstagedb2

based on the above, the database on both the servers is down

but when we try to start it up, we get the following...


[oracle@kusappsstagedb2 bin]$ ./srvctl start database -d appsstage

PRCC-1014 : appsstage was already running
PRCR-1004 : Resource ora.appsstage.db is already running
PRCR-1079 : Failed to start resource ora.appsstage.db
