edited Nov 30, 2011 11:29PM in Database Networking (MOSC) 2 comments

We are building a new oracle DB (OLTP) which will have 2500 established connections. We are looking for Oracle recommendation for TCP kernel settings for an Oracle Solaris 10 servers.

System Configuration:  Sun Microsystems  sun4u Sun SPARC Enterprise M5000 Server

Can you Please point me to any oracle document which recommends settings like below for Solaris 10 and any other network performance tuning recommendations
so that we do not have issues like ORA-12170: TNS:Connect timeout pages  and ...
tcpListenDrop

tcp_time_wait_interval
 tcp_conn_req_max_q
tcp_conn_req_max_q0

Thanks For the help in advance.
