How do you set the threshold for Device Up in the Unified Storage plugin

Hi All,
I am looking to try and configure an alert using the plugin so that an alert will be generated if one of the infiniband connections goes down on a 7320 array in an ExaLogic.  There is the Device Up threshold that sounds like it should do the trick but I can only get it to alert if the interface comes up rather than an interface being down.  The threshold is defined as > value, and this field is a true/false field with true being 1 and false being 0 there seems to be no way to get it to alert
