SLA - Supporting References

All,

my client has a reporting requirement to for tax purposes to record project related transfer pricing. For each project that want to identify the related party involved and any project transaction that involves a related party. Aiming to avoid the creation of a custom report we will be setting the customers/suppliers as intercompamy parties is it possible to use SLA supporting references to track all project transactions that are intercompany related? Is there a better approach elsewhere?
