Labor Cost Extension Question

Hi,

I want to import labor time from a 3rd system to Oracle Projects using the Open Transaction Interface.

In the 3rd labor system are entered 2 time types: Project Time and Non Project Time. The Project Time can be split between Capital Time and Revenue Time.

The calculation of the rate in Oracle Projects cannot be done using standard functionality so I should customise the labor cost extension to meet the requirements. The logic needs to:

1) determine the total charges from GL balances

2) to calculate the rate (will be a single rate that will be applied to all the transactions) the calculated total charges needs to be divided by the total time stored in the third party system (Project and Non Project Time).
