Cannot assign an approval position to certain users.
I have an issue in I-Procurement whereby an approval position cannot be assigned to certain users. This only happens with some users who require a 250k + approval limit.
The positions have all been created in Approval Groups, Approval Assignments etc and we know that these positions are in place and working as they can be assigned to other users without any issues.
We can assign the position to the user's record however when we go to Define position hierachy - the user does not appear as holding that positiion (but others who do hold that position will appear).
Though the quirky thing is - if we create a a temporary account with all the information for the user exactly the same asides from a different unique employee number - then we can successfully assign the position to that new temp record.
