Does JDE1 have function to split a work order?

For example, we start  a work order with 1000 pieces. This work order has 10 routing steps. When we work on step 2, we want to split this work order into 2 orders; one order with the same routing, qty=800 and the other order qty=200 (1000-800) but with routing slightly changed. Is it doable in JDE? If not, any workaround?
