Allow Adjustments on Transaction Sources

Has anyone found a way to allow adjustments on a transaction source after it's been used?  I have two transaction sources, Inventory & Work in Process that have been used and did not have the allow adjustment flag checked.  Now we'd like to be able to do adjustments, but only certain sources allow the flag to be checked and these two do not.
