Can VSS work with ASM?

Hi,

We recently moved Oracle 11g to ASM (on Windows Server 2008 64-bit) and the network administrator needs to know if VSS can be used with ASM (can it backup ASM disk groups, etc)? 

Any help would be appreciated.
