Changing Accrue Expense Items from Period End to At Receipt

Hello,

Customer is at 11.5.10.

They have the setup and transactions with Receipt Accounting - Accrue Expense Items set as Period End

Now they want to change it to At Receipt

Can somebody guide me how to achieve this without disturbing the existing transactions ?
